Zinc Carnosine is a bioavailable zinc chelate of Zinc and the amino acid L-carnosine. Zinc-l-carnosine may help support digestive health as well as assist with relieving heartburn, diarrhea, ulcers, abdominal tenderness, and constipation. It may achieve this by supporting the integrity of the GI tract, promoting secretion of mucus, promoting stomach acid production, preventing inflammatory-induced damage to the GI tract, and reducing “leaky gut” / intestinal hyper-permeability by regulating the tight junctions of the intestinal lining.
